Vacation-Proof Your Fitness: Stick with CrossFit Through Summer Travels

Your summer adventures shouldn’t derail the progress you’ve worked so hard to build at CrossFit Fringe. By locking in your routine now, you’ll create habits that travel with you—whether you’re chasing sunrises on the beach or exploring a new city skyline.

Build Your Routine Before You Depart

Lock in 2–3 classes per week over the next 4–6 weeks. Early-bird sessions (5 a.m. and 6 a.m.) free up your afternoons for fun and help cement CrossFit as a non-negotiable part of your day. Use our online scheduler to reserve your spot, and treat each class like an appointment you simply can’t miss. Not to mention you'll earn your Alpha Pack sticker!

Once your habit is set, drop-in workouts are available almost everywhere. Most affiliates welcome travelers who show a membership card or proof of recent CrossFit experience—and many let you book online. Just search “CrossFit” plus your destination, pick a time, and you’re in. Dropping in can be a highlight of your travels when you find another great affiliate!

Your Packable Training Kit

Even if you can’t catch a class, you can sneak in a quick WOD with just three essentials:

  • Resistance bands for pull-up assistance or warm-ups
  • Jump rope for a fast cardio blast anywhere
  • Shaker bottle pre-loaded with BCAAs or a protein mix

Fuel Smart on the Road

Healthy eating doesn’t stop when you travel. Before you go, bookmark a grocery store or café near your stay for easy access to Greek yogurt, nuts, and rotisserie chicken. When dining out, swap fries for steamed veggies, ask dressings on the side, or share plates—and box half to go. You don't need to make it complicated.

Stay Connected with Tech

Download your weekly WODs as PDFs or screenshots so you can train offline. The CrossFit Fringe Members App lets you book classes, track PRs, and review scaling options from anywhere. A wearable fitness tracker will round out your data, syncing back to your profile when you’re back online. Plus even from afar you can keep up with your programming cycles.

Embrace Flexibility & Adventure

Missed a class? No problem. Swap it for a sunrise beach run, a hike, or even a local dance lesson. Summer is about exploration—these experiences boost mobility, mental freshness, and keep your fitness journey exciting. Remember, you train in the gym to enjoy life outside the gym!
