Luke Zweerink

Luke grew up playing just about every sport you can imagine—football, baseball, basketball, and track & field. Competing year-round built his love for training early, but it wasn’t until after COVID that he found CrossFit and truly found his lane. What started as a new challenge quickly turned into a passion.

His favorite movement is the power clean. He loves the explosive nature of the lift and will tell you there’s no better feeling than standing up a heavy power clean that moves fast and crisp. That combination of speed, power, and precision is what keeps him coming back for more.

As a coach, Luke believes in coaching the person, not just the workout. His style centers on building people up, meeting them where they are, and helping them develop confidence over time. He values long-term progress over quick wins and wants every athlete—new or experienced—to feel seen, supported, and capable.

What Luke loves most about CrossFit Fringe is the community. The friendliness, the approachability, and the family-like atmosphere make it easy to walk in and feel at home—even if you don’t know anyone yet.

Fun fact: Luke claims he can eat an entire watermelon in under an hour. We’re still waiting on the official in-house challenge.
